On the recommendation of the Evangelism Committee, the Board of Elders and the Board of Trustees have approved the purchase and installation of a new informational sign.

The LED programmable sign will be much more visible to traffic traveling past the church and will give various groups in the church the opportunity to specify messages daily on the happenings in the church.  As an example, messages can be programmed that may feature the preschool, the MOPS program or even the exercise program during the morning commute and then be tailored for the drive home for activities that evening such as Wednesday Night Fellowship or Bible Studies.

A lot of work has gone into the design and size of the sign to make an aesthetically pleasing presentation. Plans are to find a centrally located area on the property for the new sign to be constructed, which will eliminate the need for the portable signs we seem to have out front on a regular basis.

Funding for the project will be handled 100% by donations.  Cost of the project is approximately $40,000.  Anyone wishing to donate to the new sign program can do so by identifying on their check or envelope “Informational Sign.”  Construction will not begin until all funds are raised.
