Teacher Appreciation Breakfast

The CE Board will host a Teacher Appreciation & Fellowship Breakfast from 9:30-10:30 a.m. on Sunday, August 26, in the Family Life Center. Everyone who attends Friedberg—members and guests—is encouraged to attend and enjoy a time of fellowship over biscuits, doughnuts, fruit and coffee.


Women’s Fall Celebration

Attention all Moravian women! The annual Fall Celebration sponsored by the Provincial Women’s Board will be held at Friedberg Moravian Church on Saturday, September 8, from 9 am to 12 pm. There will be a coffee hour will beginning at 9 am with programs beginning at 9:30. A delicious lunch will wrap up the celebration at a cost of $10 per person.
Guest speakers for the event will be the Rev. Judy Knopf and the Rev. Fran Saylor. Rev. Knopf will review the Bible study book Let’s Shine a Little Light on Our Faith by the Rt. Rev. Dr. Kay Ward. Rev. Saylor will review the mission study book The Great Co-Commission.
A silent auction to benefit the 13th Moravian Women’s Conference will also take place on this day! Donations for this auction are now being accepted. Bazaar type items such as small crafts and baked goods will also be accepted. Auction items can be brought to Friedberg on Friday, September 7, from 1 to 3 pm in the Family Life Center. . A delicious lunch will follow at 12 noon at a cost of $10 per person. Silent Auction winners will be announced at the lunch.

Family Retreat Weekend at Laurel Ridge

Friedberg’s Family Retreat Weekend at Laurel Ridge/Higgins Lodge is October 19 – October 21, 2018. The study for the weekend is Guardrails and features Pastor Andy Stanley. There is also “Guardrails for Kids”. The cost of the retreat is based on the size of your family and a $75 deposit is required at registration. Youth attending the weekend will stay in the Bishop Wing at Higgins Lodge and their deposit is $45. Registration will be held in the parlor every Sunday after worship until October 14 or until the rooms are sold out!
